The haft wrapped with otter fur. A similar example published Plains Indian Sculptures by John Ewers, 1986, page 198, figure 194. A nearly identical example was photographed by O. S. Goff circa 1886 showing a dancer hold this style board, National Archives, 111-SC-83716. 33 1/4"
