Circa 1865 L-shaped wooden handle with a ring for stock atop, sliding safety mechanism directly under handle as well as trigger on bottom side, by twisting the handle the breech is exposed, center fire, maker's mark inside breech but unreadable, shaft is painted like exotic wood and retains most original paint, and a removable ferrule.
