Buffalo Bill collection. Dick Jaffe was a horse and dog trainer with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. He collected these three pieces while working at the show. The moccasins are 19th Century. The beaded pictorial gauntlets are Plateau and exceptional, around turn of the century. The bear claw pendant and beads could be much earlier. Dick gave them to Frank Sacks when he was 85 years old. Frank left his estate to Laura Wilkin who sold to the individual from whom we acquired. Documents included.
