Cased European Percussion Gun Cane. Ca, 1870 - This case contains a 5-piece system cane that is most unusual, has a tiger maple handle that attaches to pistol, pistol is approx. .50cal, shaft barrel screws into the end of the flintlock pistol and it also has a horn removable ferrule. The rifle stock is a beautiful burl walnut with iron mountings which locks into pistol to make it a rifle, pistol is 14"x5", when barrel is attached it becomes 35", the stock when attached makes the rifle 46", very fine condition, pistol has small area of checkering.
