Exceptional Crow saddle blanket with bead strips and drops, sinew sewn on brain tanned hide, edged in muslin and then sewn on a large piece of buffalo hide. The buffalo hide is period, but we think not original to the piece but moved over after the original was worn out or damaged. Cuts in hide from skinning. Greasy yellows and red white heart beads. 58" plus 4" drops, 5" fringe, bead strip 3"W, sides 4".
