Large percussion trap gun with imposing looking bait hooks, nicely marked F. Ruethe's Patent May 12, 1857. Very fine overall with much original black lacquer finish remaining. Firing mechanisms are very fine with good action. Eight barbs are still razor sharp. One of the most recognized of all US trap guns. This far above the average example.
