Young Doctor was a major historical carver whose work can be found in the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, The Burke Museum at University of Washington, Ivar’s Salmon House in Seattle, the permanent collection of Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, and the Makah Cultural and Research Center in Neah Bay, Washington. The red sticker and totem pole informational paper from Ye Olde Curiosity Shop (YOCS) identifies this pole as being among the earliest pieces sold by YOCS after opening in 1899.
