Rocky Mountains with Indians on Plateau
Attributed to Alexander Loemans. Oil on canvas; 24" x 32". Great original ornate solid frame. Very little is known about Loemans - he's thought to have been born in France, was in Boston about 1880, and in the Northwest between 1882-1894. Loemans worked in oils, and painted scenes of the Rocky Mountains with Indians, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, as well as Canadian landscapes. Well framed.
