Six silverplate Victorian animal themed napkin rings. First a foliate and leaf engraved ring having dog houses on either side serving as feet with bulldog looking out window. Marked on bottom "Rogers, Smith & Co., Meriden, CT., quadruple, 270." Second ring with foliate engraving having scrolled border attached to circular base with matching scrolled border. Ring engraved with name "Norm." Seated bear figural on base. Marked on bottom "Queen City Silver Co., CIN'TI.O., quadruple silver" with trademark. Also etched 7/28, 1902, 9. Third ring a souvenir in oval shape, decorated on top with image of Minnesota state capitol building, noted "State Capitol, St. Paul, Minn." English bulldog seated next to and sautered on to napkin ring. Unmarked on bottom. Fourth a foliate and hatched decorated napkin ring attached to oak branch base with leaves. Long-haired toy dog in playful position next to ring. Unmarked. Fifth a foliate engraved ring. Looks to be missing finial. Attached to geometric base with dogs climbing up either side of ring. Base marked "Wilcox Silver Plate Co., quadruple plate, 01509." Final ring with hatched and geometric designs attached to oval base with foliate border. Fighting dog and cat figurals, with hissing cat on top of ring and dog on hind legs. Bottom marked "Meriden Silver Plate Co., No. 275" with lion holding trophy hallmark.
