The original six sided handle with notches and alternating bands of natural red outlined with black file burning. A drilled hole at the base for the attachment of a drop. Collected by our scout in Oklahoma direct from a Native family with attribution either Apache or Comanche. 11 1/2" head, 22 overall. Circa 1850-1880
