The George Tritch Hardware Company was once located at 1648-1652 Arapahoe Street, Denver, Colo. George Tritch (1829-1899) arrived in Denver in 1860 and established his first hardware store on Larimer Street. He was a member of the Arapahoe County Board of Education, School Board District Number 1 from 1887 to 1890. Tritch also served as the Vice President of the German Bank of Denver and as President of the German National Bank of Denver.
